Presentation guidelines and practical information for speakers

Presenters are expected to be present in the scheduled room at least 15 minutes prior to their session.

Please make sure to prepare your presentation in Powerpoint for Windows 10 (size 16:9).

Presenters of the preconference workshops on June 13 at Erasmus University are asked to bring their presentation on their laptop. In case of Macbook, please bring your Mac adapter or converter cable to connect to beamer equipment.

Presenters at De Doelen conference center, June 14-16, are asked to bring their presentations on USB stick.

For poster presenters:

The poster session is scheduled on Friday June 14, 15.45-17.00h in the Willem Burger Hal, situated at the ground floor.

Posters can be put up from 7.30h onwards. Please make sure your poster is up at least 15 minutes prior to the poster session.

Pins will be provided for securing your poster.

Poster size: All posters will be limited to 95 cm width and 145 cm height (portrait).

Make sure you hang your poster at the allocated board, please look up your poster number (that matches the numbering on the poster boards) in the poster abstract book. We have taken into account in the numbering that some presenters will present multiple posters (see poster abstract book).

After the poster session, please take down your poster, as the poster board will be removed that evening to make place for the event market the next day.


All visitors will receive a Statement of attendance. For our Dutch visitors accreditation has been requested for the following associations:

  • NVO*
* only accreditation for the total of three conference days is requested at NVO (not for single days). Points per association:

The conference will be held from 14 – 16 June 2019 at Conference Centre “De Doelen” in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

Group Reservations

Individual Reservations

Participants can book their hotel room via the registration system. Full prepayment by credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express) is mandatory. After a successful booking, each participant will receive a written confirmation/invoice.
